Silicone Prosthesis

Silicone prosthesis for Transmetatarsal-, Lisfranc-, Bona-Jäger and Chopart-amputees. The measures are taken by a negative cast. The manufacturing process is divided in two stages: 1. A try-on prosthesis is made using a vacuum and worn for 2 to 3 weeks to find any necessary changes to be made. 2. The final prosthesis is produced using vulcanised silicone. Silicone allows the prosthesis to fit well and decreases any skin irritation on the amputated limb.
