ARGO Resiprocating Orthoses
ARGO Resiprocating Orthoses can be used on patients with MMC, spina bifida or other neuro-muscular function deficiencies. Resiprocating movement is created with a nylon cable in the pelvis that attaches the hip joints together. The lower parts are made accordin to negative casts and they can be either below knee or KAFOs depending on the support needed. ARGO enables the use of a body jacket. Contraindication in ARGO, as in other resiprocating orthoses, are muscle contractures in lower extremities and malalignments that can not be corrected.
